If you view sound leadership and strategy as positives, look elsewhere...
Pros
The base salary is solid... but then again, given all of the layoffs it’s hard to be confident in how long it will continue.
Cons
Management: from mid-level line management to c-level leadership is 100% atrocious with absolutely no redeeming qualities. Strategy: LOL, what strategy? They’ve acquired two organizations and now find themselves making layoffs in order to keep the lights on. People who are key players in the generation of new revenues (ie solutions engineering, sales) now find themselves on the street and those left behind are sharing a single SE... this company has set itself up to fall flat on its face and the worst part is mgmt and c-suite seem to be either oblivious to or in denial of their many blunders. They talk about how the “tables been set” and we just need to execute now to get to breakeven and ultimately cash flow positive, but everyone in the room is laughing to themselves about the prospect. Moreover we talk about being disruptive but the reality is there are hundred other companies that can do what we do and do it better.
