They are in an interesting market segment.
Cons
Prior to being purchased by another company, the senior management (particularly the owner/founder) had no sense of a sales environment or culture and expressed clearly that "customers are stupid". To make matters worse, he was someone who couldn't be told he was wrong. Hopefully the purchase has put him in a less effective role as a people manager. They also had significant product bugs and a lack of critical features that customers demanded. The new owner has fortunately developed an entire replacement product suite.
