Pros

Get to work with a variety of different vendors (Cisco, HP, Aruba, etc)

Cons

Lack of organization. Will tell you during interview 20% travel. More like 90-95% (example: summer of 2017 was on away from May 14th - Aug 24). When you travel they book you in horrible motels (yes...that's "motel" as opposed to "hotel"). Stayed in places that reeked of weed with shady characters hanging in the parking lot, as well as obvious prostitution. Management will tell you that they "have no way of knowing if a motel is good or bad when booking online". My argument was "if the room is $30 per night it's probably not a nice place to stay". I've worked as many as 93 hour weeks (7 days straight working up to 18 hours). Pay is salaried so no overtime pay and you will never work less than 40 hours. Speaking of pay, salary offered is well below market. Company supplied my laptop but everything else needed to complete my job I had to purchase (cellphone (as you are pretty much on call whenever), software for the laptop (didn't even come with Microsoft Office), etc.) Culture of fear as owner (Scott Morgan) was always angry. There were times you could hear him in his office yelling at his girlfriend over the phone and then he would take his anger out on team the remainder of the day. In doing so, he would be extremely disrespectful (especially to women).

Pros

Met some nice people

Cons

The owner, Scott, is abusive to employees. There is a fear culture do to his mercurial temper. They have hired and chased away some real professionals. Don’t be fooled into wasting your time and talent.

Pros

Multiple vendors to work with (Cisco, Aruba, HPE)

Cons

In my 16 year long career, this place was, by far, the worst place I have ever had the displeasure of working at. I could go on for an eternity about all the things wrong with this place, but for the purposes of this review, I’ll stick to the cold, hard facts. • Culture is deeply Toxic ○ PM's, & Engineers are typically over-worked; I and others were told in the interview that travel is 20-25%. What a lie. I once saw multiple engineers away for about 3 months straight up in the Chicago area during the winter. They even had to buy new clothes while they were there! ○ History of High Turnover and not doing right by engineers. In the year that I was there, I saw no less than 10 people start, quit, or get fired. Keep in mind, the whole company is only about 25 people. ○ Profits, while certainly important, tend to be the only driving force. People are treated as disposable. ○ CEO/Management is very pressured, and by association pressure those who report to them on top of the unreasonable workload the employees have. ○ Company seems to be growing financially which is good, but struggles to grow in workforce due to high turnover rate and other factors such as the fear culture that permeates this company. ○ Low morale among senior engineers; talk of quitting is often heard by even the most hard-working employees ○ Have personally witnessed the CEO exhibit multiple outbursts of anger and act unprofessionally. ○ General view of management is not favorable • Work/Life Balance ○ PM's have stated that they work at home until late night every night because of project load. ○ Senior mgmt. seems unwilling to hire more PM's to balance workload ○ Pay is nowhere near comparable to other positions with same responsibilities After a year, I quit this job voluntarily, and moved on. Everyday that goes by at my new place of employment shows me just how bad this place really was. It is a literal rat hole, and a hot mess. Stay far away from this place.
