Pros

The people working at the coal face are great. We have been through so much together we have formed some really close bonds. I enjoyed the work and the direction the company appeared to be going. My direct manager whilst being a bit of a jobs worth is not a bad person.

Cons

This is a new company formed from the ashes of RSTO Ltd. Those now directly in charge of the department are sadly way out of touch and have little or no idea how to manage the department or the people within it. We have been told many outright lies which we receive no apology for but instead expected to work and should be "grateful" that we have jobs. I can assure you most of us would have preferred redundancy as this is what happened to half the company in November. We used to trust in our superiors but now we are full of dis-trust and actively looking to exist the business as soon as possible. Whatever is reported to the CEO regarding the department is obviously flat out lies trying to cover management failures and trying to gain credit for anything and everything possible. The worst part of all is the patronizing tone used when spoken to by those in charge of service delivery, They also speak very loudly when they think no-one is listening and frankly insult us by talking about us calling us all manner of derogatory terms.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. All change can be challenging and we certainly understand that new directions and remits, even if temporary, don't always work for everyone. Thanks for the positive sentiments on the team you have been working with and the fact that you loved your work previously. I’m very positive about the prospects for the company and would welcome a discussion to hear your thoughts on why that has changed for you, and on the areas you feel are not being reflected correctly. We would always prefer to resolve personal disagreements and retain good people and skills. However we also accept that maybe your choice to move on is the right one if you can't reconcile that with your other views. In that case, I thank you for your time in the company and hope that the skills learnt here hold you in good stead in your future career. Warren Gee, CEO

Pros

Although I was only with the company for just under 2 months I would recommend it as a place of work to anyone. All the people are amazing and very welcoming and I was made to feel a part of the team from day one. While at Trendzer I was taken out for a meal courtesy of management and also treated to pizza for managing to hit our targets which really showed us the appreciation of our hard work.

Cons

I honestly have nothing bad to say about the company and had a great time working for Trendzer

Pros

A good level of training was given by my line manager when I started the job

Cons

An ambitious company they may have been, but it was one which was completely unprepared to spend in any kind of meaningful way to achieve this without asking staff to perform miracles No plans in place to replace important members of staff when they left - the workload was simply shifted to those that remained and the pay was so poor that it was difficult to see how anybody below management level enjoyed their job Obnoxious management, in particular the Chief Strategy (?) Officer, who fancies himself as a Steve Jobs-type maestro but whose job seemed to be to pretend he was important and visionary in front of staff, customers and potential investors and partners Unrealistic targets - simply not remotely achievable, largely due to the fact that those in control of the targets had no idea of the reality of the job at the coal-face - quite a feat for a company so small! Absolutely no attempt to reward employees or make them feel valued - zero benefits, zero pay increases even for those who had been there for a number of years, and zero attention paid to work/life balance Total contempt for customers and staff upon the announcement of liquidation in summer of 2017 - staff laid off immediately with absolutely no warning, others asked to work for free and promised deadlines for updates to be given on the future of the company missed
