The position was direction toward myself as a backup plan, and this was truly the bad turmoil that I won't let happen in the future. Being that the events schedule and expectations were already discussed with a previous person, someone above myself, the latter of communication was now confusing. I showed up early and fell into a ring of fire when approached on the job details for the day. This was not discussed ahead of time with myself, but to the wrong person. Establishing the line of communication is a takeaway from my experience and surely learned from this quickly.
