Pros

health insurance is decent - dental and vision

Cons

Throughout my time with the TrustLayer, persistent obstacles stemmed from a noticeable disconnection within the leadership team. The absence of a cohesive strategic vision led to a lack of clarity, introducing an excess of new ideas and solutions that hindered our ability to navigate the dynamic insurtech landscape. These structural challenges manifest both internally and externally, affecting our relationships with customers and impacting the company's growth trajectory and competitive standing. Notably, a lack of grounding for scalability, coupled with internal politics and excessive interference, contributed to an environment where people talked over one another.

Pros

-Working with talented, knowledgeable, and hard working individuals to make an amazing product. -Room for growth and being able to provide insight into the direction the company is headed. -Culture -Great pay -Unlimited PTO -Paid health ins -401k

Cons

Being part of a start up, you're responsible for wearing multiple hats, which equates to stretching your expertise and comfort levels (not necessarily a bad thing). Also...with a start up, it's not a normal 9-5, but we try to have a healthy work-life balance.
