Pros

There were very few. My immediate co-workers were very kind and knowledgeable people and I enjoyed their presence greatly. It was also nice to have nearly two weeks off between Christmas and New Years.

Cons

The cons far outweigh the pros of this job. At no point is TurnAround as an agency dedicated to truly teaching any LMSW's how to be better therapists. The expectation of the clinical director is you simply figure it out for yourself or everything that goes wrong in some capacity is your fault. Personality politics run completely rampant at this agency and the upper management has a known habit, among professionals and students alike, to gaslight and create toxic environments for employees who are lower on the hierarchy in any capacity. The clinical director has a history of choosing favorites and if you are not one then you will most likely be forced out of the job within a year of working there. The turn over rate for the organization is ghastly and it is a wonder how the organization continues to run when the very core of the values are so completely skewed to what they tell client's on a day to day basis. The office is not set up to be trauma informed and the TERF/SWERF ideology is glaringly apparent to those who are looking. It is unwise for queer people at this job to come due to becoming more of a target of the outrageous gossip that will no doubt follow you based on some arbitrary mistake made early on. It can not be understated enough that as an LMSW, you will not become a better clinician at this job. The 'holier then though' attitude of upper management leaves your skill in the hands of a few who expect you to teach yourself and become frustrated with you for asking too many questions. There are no advancement opportunities and you will be told certain job duties are not relegated to you and then you will be blamed for not completing the same job duties. It is truly based on personality and anyone who does not fit whatever ideal they're trying to achieve are pushed out. There is no HR department, there are no formal performance reviews and supervision was mostly a joke sprinkled with the sensationalization of the cases you are working with. The upper management actively gossips about employees and client's and there is very little done in the way of protecting employees who have little sway in the organization.

Unfriendly work environment. No onboarding, no feedback from supervisor, high turnover and poor leadership. Not a welcoming place for employees. Would not recommend working here.
