Pros

A solid development team who really know their subject, which makes it great for junior devs who want to improve. The seniors were always happy to spend time with me to help work though problems. The work was challenging and there was a good variety of customers. Every dev is allocated training, but you might have to wait a little while for it On the whole there was a friendly atmosphere. people were friendly and got on with each other. Always lots of discussion going on in the office. Central location. Right next to the park and lots of places to go for lunch They make a big thing about trying to improve the business for staff, and there were lots of opportunities to give feedback The office is pretty nice and modern. The company seems to be doing well. There was always lots of work on

Cons

Chatotic approach to running projects. They follow a confusing half-scrum-half-waterfall process Manipulative project managers who would pressure you to reduce your estimates and then pin the blame it on the devs when the project overran. The atmosphere during projects was sometimes toxic and would bleed in to your homelife No career progression options for devs (a main reason I left). They have team leads and architects, but as far as I could tell these are just vanity titles to stop seniors leaving. If you're a junior then learn your trade and move on. They just do Sitecore, so if you like to dabble in lots of things, then it's probably not your for you Some of the rules like the dress code are outdated

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. It’s good to see that you felt supported by our developers as part of your time here and that you liked the atmosphere, people and location of the office. I’m really sorry that your experience during the project process wasn’t the best. We’ve made a lot of changes in terms of process for projects and spent a lot of time working with project teams to get this right moving forward. We’ve also worked hard on making improvements in the work environment too, which includes dress code and headphones. We’ve listened to the feedback given by the team and implemented changes to benefit everyone. As a small company offering opportunities for senior roles and management level can often be difficult. However, each member of the team as part of their 121 process is given a development plan, which allows for discussion and suggestion for training. This will then feed into the annual training set by the team. Thanks again for writing a review for us.
