Pros

- friendly colleagues - possibility to develop a new project from scratch - job stability - good place to work if you have a family

Cons

No real modern R&D culture ( no agile, no SW dev practices) Everything is rushed and not done thoroughly. Project management is uncoordinated across departments. Company is very risk adverse and stuck using old tech. Very good in traditional Eng ( electrical & mechanical) but for modern tech ( embedded, cloud, APIs, software testing, CI/CD) and frameworks there’s not enough knowledge and new ideas are often blocked or you need to fight hard to get them started as very few people have enough understanding. No work from home - absurd for 2025 for a small R&D team. No KPIs based bonuses, no clear career progression paths, no feedback sessions among team members. Senior and even middle management stuck in the 90ies mindset
