Cons
Management is awful! My manager was a (most likely) racist Korean guy who yelled at me, called me names, and excluded me from the rest of my team claiming that I was not a good employee. When I told HR and upper management, they flipped it on me and fired me with an unjust PIP. HR is absolutely not here for you! They are here for the benefit of the company. The role was extremely stupid. You do close to nothing all day; just watch the machine run and try to solve the problems that arise. Sincerely, you do not need to have any type of degree to do this work, it is an absolute waste of time and energy to do. You gain no real skills or expertise to apply to another company in the future. You are also expected to work ridiculous hours, and management does not care about work-life balance in the slightest. Within one week, you may work both day and night shifts, which is detrimental to your sleep schedule and health. Lastly, SOME (not all) Korean people have prejudiced viewpoints (esp against black people) that may translate into the work. Please keep that in mind. Please do not work here, especially as a newly graduated engineer. You will find bigger and better options.
