Pros

Stable. Mistakes are easily forgiven compared to other companies. Good place to retire especially if you have difficulty learning. Company survives well despite the problems it faces in terms of market climate and employee attitude and capabilities. Company cares enough to develop skills of its staff although most staff are averse to learning and forget instructions soon after they are given despite writing down notes and sending multiple emails, yet they remain in the company after so long (in other places if they do this they won't even pass probation). Pay may be low or average but they mark up with other allowances but depends on your employment terms and job scope and your relationship with key persons in the Top Management too.

Cons

Extra effort to improve is encouraged but seldom recognised in most cases, normally justified with lame excuses. Actually talented people who try to challenge the norm are blasted and they quit on their own accord. People here conclude you have to remain mediocre to survive. Some even try to avoid promotion. It's a miracle the company survived so long.
