Pros
The money is good. Easy parking, some really good people who are amazing at their jobs.
Cons
I've been here over 4 years on the JLR contract, I've worked in a few areas and I'm still shocked in what I see each day. While the building is new, the culture is from the 1970s, its ran like a boys club. Managers/TLs constantly suspended or sacked for gambling, sexual harassment etc. Bullying/harassment is encouraged, I often see people in tears & overloaded with work and if its reported you are encouraged to give out "file notes" and accuse them of being lazy, having poor organisational skills or incompetence to keep them quiet. I suggested to a senior manager what they want borderlines bullying/harassment and I was told "If you don't like it leave". Its not just the DCOs, the office people are treated even worse with a certain department being legendary for mistreatment. Employing massive amounts of family members to departments is also a normality, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, aunties & uncles often turning up in high paying jobs that were never advertised, this has created mini mafia's that gang up together making people so powerful nobody can take them down. Its generally an unhappy & unprofessional place to work.
