I have been working at United Rentals full-time

    Pros

Since being hired by United Rentals in 2014 I have felt empowered, supported and energized. Often when working at a Fortune 500 company one may feel like a number, but at United Rentals I am a valued employee with goals and aspirations. Every person on my leadership team has always supported me as a female in a male populated industry and provided me with opportunities to proudly represent my company in external and internal organizational events. I have always been encouraged to lead and participate in initiatives that bring awareness to the positive impact that diversity and inclusion brings to the construction industry. I could not be happier or feel more supported than I do at United Rentals.

    Cons

    No cons to report on.

I have been working at United Rentals full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great company to work for. Company truck, great pay, decent benefits. UR has a great safety culture, while big a large company they still have a great family atmosphere. They have a lot of different divisions within the company. This helps bring a lot of value to a customer when we can handle a project from start to finish and gives us a leg up on the competition.

    Cons

While I understand the needs for meetings to keep all 18,000+ employees on the same page. The redundancy of the meetings causes a lot of time wasted, when we could be out selling. Other than that it has been a great company to work for.

I have been working at United Rentals full-time

    Pros

Pay is good for an hourly tech, not paid by the job. Good people.

    Cons

Communication is not great. I wish there were more reviews than just an annual, quarterly would be nice.
