Pros

Senior management tends to be domain ignorant, weak-willed, and feeble-minded. This makes it far easier than it should be to slack off, lock into neutral, and just cruise along with the jelly-backed morons leading the show.

Cons

The CEO likes to have "adult conversations" with everyone but himself. He needs to have a good hard look in the mirror, followed by some self-analysis, and possibly a good solid upper-cut. His leadership style is an unusual blend of passive aggressive distrust mixed in with healthy doses of disrespect and contempt for those who work under him. Employee engagement scores hover around critical to destructive levels and there is a lack of trust that makes for a very toxic and ineffective workplace. This is seriously one company that should be avoided at all costs.

Pros

It's difficult to find 20 words describing the "pros" of working at Unitywater. There simply aren't any! This is without question the most awful place I've ever worked in my lifetime!!!!!

Cons

Staff are routinely beaten into submission by an oppressive and vengeful Senior Management. From the top down the culture is one of intimidation and fear. Management seem to believe that constant threats, never ending cycles of staff layoffs, and playing one employee off against another is the best way of achieving corporate objectives. I have news for you. It's not. What they fail to realise is that the fear of dismissal and being made redundant at short notice will only make a person work so hard. I have witnessed repeated staff bullying and coercion that no self respecting person should have to be subjected to. It is no exaggeration to state that Unitywater has been the cause of many staff seeking medical attention and even hospitalisation. HR at Unitywater is toxic. They are nothing more than bullies and pack dogs for an out of control Senior Management Group. My recommendation to anyone contemplating a position at Unitywater is to give the place a wide berth. This is NOT a place to work if you value your time, career and sanity!!!!

Pros

Absolutely nothing good that I can say about Unitywater.

Cons

The contempt and lack of care exhibited by management towards staff has to be seen to be believed. I can accept arrogant management to some point, but when it gets delivered by a management team that would rate as the most incompetent that I've come across in my 30 years in the work force, it's simply unforgivable.
