Pros

The culture was great, the people were great, and the benefits were great. When I first started at Unroll Me, we were building out the website and had ideas of coming out with an iOS app. Having the chance to work at a very early start-up and be a part of the building process was an invaluable experience and something I'll never forget.

Cons

Post-acquisition, the small, start-up vibe of the company changed completely. The company that acquired Unroll Me, a Japanese mega-corp, stripped what made Unroll Me and Slice what they were and tried to shoehorn them into the greater company structure. It stripped us of everything we were proud of and stopped any forward progress on the product itself.

Pros

The people at the firm were an absolute pleasure to work with. Each team worked seamlessly to integrate the company into one group as opposed to separate teams.

Cons

The day-to-day operations were a bit tedious. Located in WeWorks->not its own building. Code-base is very dependent on itself and leads to difficult debugging.
