job insecurity and disrespect

Pros

Like everyone says, DEI is great and most colleagues are great to work with.

Cons

Make sure you have a backup plan because a lot of people don’t seem to last long. The company hires a bunch of people every year, only to fire them again a year later because of “restructuring”. Management has no long term plan and employees are the casualties of their lack of foresight and leadership. There is a clique environment. Bad employees are rewarded.because they have been there longer or socialize better with the bosses. Good employees who bring constructive criticism are pushed away. So it looks like they are happy with the status quo, even if it means they lose money. Also strong bully culture and good people get pushed around by bad ones with bigger voices. Revenue is the only important thing, and all the talk of values is just noise created to distract from the real problems. DEI means nothing when they disrespect and bully people that are not in your clique. No long term vision except to make investors happy no matter the human cost. You will never get salary increase or promoted. Do not hope to use your expertise because you will be micromanaged by leaders who know best even though they never did your job.

Pros

- Good teammate - Great office (in Munich) - Good remote working policy (will be reduced from Aug/Sep 2023) - Compensation is correct

Cons

- Highest BS score ever seen - No long run strategy except pleasing the investors - Work in total silo (to a level Intelligent Services will dream of) even between teams in the same department - So many projects are started in the rush… then suddenly disappear from the radar - The "Culture & Value" noise to make you look away from the hill of malfunctions

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We appreciate your positive remarks about the flexibility of remote work, the great team and colleagues you've had the opportunity to work with, and the enjoyable team-building events we organize. We understand your concerns regarding transparency and management. We are committed to fostering an environment of open communication and transparency throughout our organization. To further enhance this, we have recently reshaped our employee communications and provide detailed insights into company strategy, operational and departmental business news every month in our AllHands meetings, next to several other communication channels. We have also just recently hired an Employee Experience Lead who will be responsible for conducting & analyzing engagement surveys to gain insights into the satisfaction and engagement levels of our employees, enabling us to identify areas for improvement and take action accordingly. We are continuously working towards creating a supportive and positive work environment that values the contributions of our team members. Our goal is to ensure that every employee feels heard, appreciated, and motivated to contribute their best. In terms of compensation and our KPI system, we regularly review and benchmark our salary structures to ensure they remain competitive and fair. Additionally, we are actively working on refining our KPI system to provide a clear framework for success, performance evaluation and growth. We appreciate your feedback and assure you that your concerns are being taken seriously. Your insights will help us in our ongoing efforts to improve our management practices, communication, and overall employee experience. If you would like to give even more detailed feedback, feel free to send us an email to: hr@usercentrics.com
