Pros

Great low-level workers. Very enthusiastic, and helpful, making every moment of working experience valuable.

Cons

Where to start... Management: 1. Zero experience in managing. 2. HR working from home for no reason at all. 3. HR have no basic understanding about human resource at all. 4. HR takes weeks to reply a simple email. 5. No EPF were given, but deducted from salary. 5. Higher-ups and leads have ZERO understanding about company goal, and business understanding. 6. Does not care about low-level workers morale. 7. Higher-ups always hard sells and bad decision making. 8. Team leaders with ZERO coding proficiency and technical experience. Working experience: 1. Flexibility only for the higher ups. 2. Low level workers are forbidden to work from home. 3. Irrelevant and impossible KPI set by the managers. 4. Crunched timeline, resulting to forced long hours of working. 5. Ideas were often rejected, for the sake of maintaining balance among leaders. 6. Blind leading the blinds.

Pros

- Kind and Collaborating Employees - Department Rotation - Basic Health Insurance - Learning Opportunities to improve and hone technical skills

Cons

- No work from home - No travel allowance - No food allowance - No festivities allowance - Too much workload - No overtime pay - Expectation to work on weekends - Late Salary disbursement for 4 of the 7 months of employment, contract breached, law broken, no compensation given. - Senior engineers were paid as late as 3 weeks past the promised date - Escalations against senior engineers are not taken seriously - Management has falsely accused 3 people and forced them to resign, they are capable of producing false evidence and reporting to HR, and then either put the accused employee on a performance improvement plan or ask them to forcefully resign. - Management only elects the ones that listen to them, not the capable ones - Very poor management, and so project planning is also affected. - Unreliable HR - they discuss confidential matters openly - At the reorganisation meeting we were reminded that all of us are replaceable and that 6 donkeys are hired for 1 competent hire, 5 people handed in their resignation the following week.

Pros

- Able to learn AI and LLM related things - Smart coworkers - Flexibility working hours (which means also OT is required)

Cons

If you’re considering investing in Userdata, be sure to thoroughly investigate the company’s culture and management practices. Don’t rely solely on their official narrative; instead, reach out to current and former employees on LinkedIn to uncover the truth. The work environment is deeply demotivating, marked by a significant lack of focus on employee growth and development. As a result, many feel stagnant and unsupported in their roles. Communication within the company is chaotic at best. Critical information is often either missing or poorly articulated, leading to confusion and delays in project execution. This lack of clarity significantly hinders productivity and erodes trust among team members. Leadership at Userdata is severely deficient. There is no clear vision or accountability, causing morale to plummet. Although management solicits feedback, the persistent inaction leaves employees feeling unheard and undervalued. This disconnect between leadership and staff fosters an atmosphere of frustration and disengagement. Additionally, there have been alarming practices that raise ethical concerns. For instance, the company has attempted to mislead investors by hard-coding app features to create a facade of functionality—this should serve as a major red flag for potential stakeholders. It’s also worth noting that employees have faced legal repercussions for using their personal laptops for company testing, as the provided equipment is inadequate. This puts individuals in a precarious position, highlighting a troubling disregard for employee welfare. The high turnover rate further illustrates the company’s dysfunction. It’s telling when employees express their disdain publicly; in town halls, leadership has even referred to staff as “donkeys,” which epitomizes a culture of disrespect and demoralization. Moreover, some leaders—who seem to be more like puppets than true visionaries—spend hours in meetings yet emerge without a clear understanding of priorities or actionable steps. This inefficiency is not only frustrating but also reflects poorly on the organization’s operational competency. Finally, take note of the 4-5 star reviews that appear deceptively positive. Many of these seem to be orchestrated by those who have a vested interest in maintaining a favorable image, rather than being genuine reflections of employee experiences. In summary, any potential investor should approach Userdata with caution, as the underlying issues could pose significant risks to long-term success.
