Pros

Nothing! Not one single thing. A giant waste of time. Seriously, not one thing is a positive here.

Cons

Horrible leadership. They’re liars. They’re fake. They’re only in it for their own success. They are micro managers. They’re ego driven. They only care about themselves. They will cut you off quickly. DON’T LEAVE A GOOD CAREER FOR THIS PLACE. THEY’LL LEAVE YOU UNEMPLOYED!

Pros

there really aren't any good reasons

Cons

After numerous resignations and complaints about how bad the environment was, Vehlo did effectively nothing (visible as of the time of this writing). No interviews with sub employees, no visiting teams or investigation of culprits. In fact, the people who tried to raise the issue were blamed as having a bad attitude. Employee satisfaction surveys are a mere numbers game, the negative reports "statistically not significant". Care for employees is missing at Vehlo. Whatever values upper management might preach, the words have no resonance within the company. Management is out of touch with their employees. This is a finance company, hoping to make a quick turn-around profit on their holdings, before customer relationships erode too much. The work environment is chaos. Managers seem to enjoy stress, tormenting their employees. There is no cross-team collaboration - other teams are suspect. Power grabbing, manipulation and undermining reigns. If you work here, you will be yanked from project to project, constantly told to do something different. You will go through mindless reorgs and process changes. You will have to support dozens of environments in various states of disrepair, among constantly shifting priorities. Perfectly good, working solutions will be thrown out at the whim of someone who doesn't even know what it does. Customer needs will seem a forgotten relic. You will work for people less qualified and less skilled than you. Anything you love will be taken away. You will wish you were somewhere else.

Pros

A great place for entry level employees to grow and learn.

Cons

This growth and learning comes at a cost. Senior management is grossly incompetent and doesn't supervise middle management. Left to its own devices, middle management runs out the clock while employees founder. The good employees who know better leave while the bad ones stick around. What entry level employees will learn from this is how NOT to run a company. Vehlo's prime directive amounts to little more than a Ponzi scheme. Their parent company raises venture capital to buy up smaller companies and then recapitalizes them to finance those purchases. I watched them annihilate the growth of one company and shrink revenue back to pre-acquisition levels. All of that was avoidable with competent senior management. Senior management avoids vocational assessments like the plague. It's the same with written playbooks and key performance indicators. Why? To protect their jobs!
