On the verge of unprofessional

Pros

If you want to pour your life into your job, this company has that culture. Everyone works over time and on holidays. The company sets up weekly and monthly events that cultivates the family feeling to continue to keep employees engaged.

Cons

There is a poor work-life balance among employees. Many employees work late or from home on the weekends or over the holidays. While it is possible to set personal boundaries and define your own work-life balance, there is a tension and a silent expectation to work overtime. I was hired on to what was in reality a temporary job that was supposed to transition into a job with a completely different skill set. However, the position was listed as full time. Furthermore, when I was let go from the company I was given zero warning. This company does this frequently. The job listing will not match everything you will be required to learn and do if you are working corporate. Your scope of work will exceed a 40 hour work wee and it will exceed the scope of work listed in the job posting.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry if your experience was a negative one. We try our best to evenly spread the long hours sometimes required to finish our urgent projects. If an employee ends up having to stay late to finish up work, they are always fairly compensated and that effort and willingness is never overlooked by our managers. Those who are willing to put in the time will see the results of their hard labor. With that said, if you feel that you are being treated unfairly, we encourage you to talk that over with your manager or if you feel more comfortable speaking with an outside source, we encourage you to reach out to our HR team. Horrible Company To Work For!

Pros

They give you a very nice truck.

Cons

They treat employees like a garbage! For example: my first week on the job I heard manager after manager cuss out subordinates because they did not want to work in the rain when it was 20 degrees outside. I can't say I blamed them for not wanting to do that. It is ridiculous! The managers and foreman cared more about their numbers than their employees.

Our top priority is to treat every employee, in all positions, with the upmost respect. If there is ever offensive language being used towards our employees, we ask for that it be reported to our HR department. We care about our employees and the safety training they are given. Our managers are required to pay close attention to ensure our safety requirements are met.
