      Great Product, Poor Management

      Pros

      The hardware IP that is being created has the potential to change agriculture. Great place to ride your bike to and from, backs up to trails. Lots of snacks.

      Cons

      Poor communication from management. Morning meetings that completely waste time with no direction. Management has never followed through on their promises, ever. Funding was supposed to be secure, then 13 of us lost our job. At 3:30 on Easter, I got a call from the EA about an 8:30a meeting. At which point we were "wrangled" into a room with not enough chairs, and told as a group, we were getting let go. That's the level of professionalism you can expect here.

      Amazing Potential, Failed Management

      Pros

      Potential to change agriculture and bring more clean food to more tables. The technology they are trying to produce is amazing, next level stuff. They are very flexible with time.

      Cons

      It clear after working here for 2+ years that not all people are meant to be leaders. The management team has no idea how to effectively plan. They hired a TPM and don't even let him do his job. The result is missed deadlines to contracts, undelivered products, high turnover rate, and poorly managed teams. They hire high dollar employees instead of building people up and shortened their runway in the process.

      Cons

      Our CEO's creativity is off the charts, but when it comes to the nuts and bolts of running a business, there's room for learning. If he hit up a top business school, he might see that 90% mistakes he's hitting are Business 101. The rest 10% of his ideas? Well, they're so out there even business schools haven't thought of them! He could totally write a bestseller called "How to Ruin a Company as a CEO" – I'd buy ten copies in a heartbeat - no hesitation.
