Pros

Collectively, this is by far the smartest group of people I have ever worked with. HR's selective screening process is slow to hire at times, but results in a largely level-headed group of coworkers. The types of projects you get to work on varies widely across many different industries, which can be a very cool thing to experience. Management is very flexible about where you want to work from (home, office, or a combination) when a project doesn't require you to be on site.

Cons

The overall workload can be overwhelming at times. Raises dropped below the rate of inflation post-pandemic. Management can sometimes string employees along with promises of promotion. During the pandemic, management did nothing to dissuade employees who openly advocated against medical science in work meetings.

Pros

Working here for a couple of years has been a good experience, you learn a ton (especially as a new hire) and your input is taken into account as far as the things you want to work on. For the most part, hours are reasonable and WFH stuff is very flexible, but you'll end up working some very long hours during crunch time.

Cons

The onboarding process for new hires is pretty barebones and without much support unless you make some friends to help you. The pay scale seems low given that you are asking people to do the work of full-stack developers while referring to them as a different title. Probably the biggest issue is still the "boys club" culture, especially among some of the people that have been around for a long time. Lots of racist and sexist undertones during the open conversation that tend to make quite a few people uncomfortable.
