Several Cons. No real integrity. Unprofessional after a few weeks. They do not value talent, they do not want change or open to new or fresh ideas, set in their ways, this is a small family mom and pop business, they will fire you for any reason and then tell you its because they do not have the budget or revenue to sustain employees. They only have one client basically, They have no documentation or standard procedures, they bring in people who are placed in executive or leadership roles that do not understand the details of the day to day activities and challenges in engineering space. You will wear mutiple hats for what they hire you for. You will get a made up title and they expect you to perform 100% with no training or support. Hours are long and no help from others because they do not have the time or bandwidth to train because the other employees are afraid of getting fired if they dont perform to the family standards. They will set you up for failure and its a cut throat environment. They are trying to run this company like a Fortune 500 company but only have about 20-30 employees that are all running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The minute you start at Vertex you better have another job lined up because they will fire you in an instant and do not have a caring bone about you. The health benefits are nothing to look at and extremely expensive. They are desperately trying to save a buck at the employees expense. No couthe, no professionalism, the owners and executive teams do not know how to retain good talent they hire. RUN, RUN and do not apply here. You are valuable and another company deserves your skills and talent for years not weeks or months. Vertex Innovations in Littleton, CO is a complete disaster and they will take full advantage of you and send you on your way. The retention rate at Vertex is low. On average the lifespan is 10-12 months if they hire you. This is not a consulting company like they are trying to pain.....this is a company that is barely surviving and trying to wing it with every penny and their only client. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you feel this wasnt a good review....just ask around the industry to others and read other reviews.
