Well thought out resource. The organization was very supportive. Vocabulary.com was culturally diverse, open to ideas and new solutions to do what's best for the customer and the employees.
Cons
Acquisition tore apart a wonderful team and a stripped apart the product.

Pros
Vocabulary.com was an amazing company to work for and my dream job! Before the IXL acquisition, we had such a lovely culture of hardworking people who truly cared about educators. Every department worked together and we all celebrated the wins together. Also, we has free lunch on Wednesdays! The founders are so smart and they were very approachable. We used to do an annual symposium (before COVID of course) and got to learn so much about how the product works from people in different departments.
Cons
The IXL acquisition wasn't the right fit for Vocabulary.com's vision. Unfortunately the founders couldn't have known that.
