Pros

You have a lot of work latitude during your day, to go where you need to go, and do what you need to do. Some of the co-workers are very good at their job.

Cons

Company notoriously operates on the cheap, so other stations will be able to provide clients with better breaks, gifts, rewards, inducements, etc. Management micro-manages lists, but are disorganized. You have to ignore a lot of what goes on and just go out and do what you need to do to sell so that you can get paid.

Pros

The reporters are generally pretty nice and friendly amongst each other and are friends outside of the newsroom. The sales staff seems to like each other too. They recently invested in new cameras for photographers and mmjs.

Cons

Management is downright incompetent. Illegal stuff happening constantly. Changing of timecards, coverups and lies. Often, people are told they are going to have opportunities that won't happen. Flat out lies and no attempt to make good on promises. Older staffers do minimal work. The product reflects it. Recently launched a laughably bad 4:00 show that is a cashgrab. Salaraies at this station are so low too. Gray needs to get in there and see it.

Pros

Breaking news. Fellow colleagues. A bonus every now and then. Sometimes the station orders in food.

Cons

Low pay. Hours. No real training. Toxic work environment. Low morale.
