-No onboarding
-No HR rep in the Toronto office
-the website that this primarily online retailer sells through is based on legacy technology created by the founder that is barely support and held together by bandaids
-Other technology used in the office such as conference call phones, etc. is laughable
-Benefits are poor
-Promises made about a job when joining should be taken with a grain of salt
-Only a collaborative environment if you agree with management
-Marketing efforts are sadly outdated
-Cliques are encouraged, especially surrounding executives
-Executives view the company as their personal playground, and more is made of serving egos than customers' needs
-'Green' customers who are the most loyal are mocked and wellness is not made a priority
-No opportunity for career advancement as upper management are entrenched and most people view this as a stepping stone to better jobs. If you do get a job there, I'd advise the same. Most stay about a year to get the line on the resume.
