    Good company culture and great compensation for senior management

    Cons

    I have been working for White Lodging for 2 years now. They recently enacted a Gallup test that determines wether or not you are fit for a job you are applying for. I recently applied for a management position within White Lodging. It came back as Low potential. I currently have the exact same job at a larger and higher rated hotel. I have nothing but good references within this hotel, and have worked very hard over the last two years to do so. The fact that a test can determine wether or not I am fit for a job is absolutely ridiculous. What happened to meeting people and referring to their references within your own company. I’m about to leave the company if I can’t progress in my career without passing this test.

    I have been working at White Lodging full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    They have done everything they can to help. The company put together a five million dollar fund to help their associates during Covid. This was paid for by the owner and his family. Our hotel team has grown closer.

    Cons

    Schedules are very difficult right now. There is a lot to do with very little staff. I understand that the hotel is very slow so we have to do multiple jobs. I’m happy to be working. I can’t wait for it to be back to normal again!
