Where to start? Other reviews seem to have addressed the main points, but I'll provide corroboration. Nothing matters here except revenue and profit. All decisions are made by first thinking, "What can we do to make money?" and working backwards from there. This culture starts at the top and reverberates down through the bloated ranks of middle managers. There is so much pressure to generate revenue placed on managers, they find themselves acting in ways they might not otherwise, such as pushing employees to SELL SELL SELL instead of educating and developing them. Employees also react to this stress by constantly gossiping and bringing their co-workers down to make themselves seem better by comparison. It's an incredibly stressful, toxic workplace. All this at a Wellness Center! The contradiction is insane. Employees who attempt to address concerns with HR are treated coldly, and concerns are falsely addressed while the management team actually closes ranks and works to get rid of the "problem" employee. This employee can then be blamed for anything going wrong that was remotely related to them. Do you have a master's degree in Exercise Science? Congratulations! Upper management treats employees like nothing. Employees are constantly set up to fail and then blamed when they do. HR makes mistakes constantly (payroll errors, corrective actions for nonsense reason, and retaliation). Extremely high turn over rate! They will lie to you about your job duties in your interview and then double your responsibilities once hired.
