Pros
- Wonderful people to work with - "Most" of the managers are great - A lot of learning since it is a startup and still developing - People are genuinely caring, kind, and helpful - Culture is brilliant with lots of flexibility
Cons
- You can land up with a dreadful manager and everything good will become awful for you (but this applies to any company) - The higher management (HR, Founders, etc.) are unaware of the deeper problem that the lower level employees face with the company, clients, and product or even their managers - Long hours, overtime, tonnes of work with no overtime compensation - Almost every day can be frustrating because the product has MANY issues. There is not a single day that you wouldn't face an issue internally, or get calls from externals about the issues they are facing. You spend most of your day just resolving issues - It takes a lot for the higher management to do something about the problems, one might need to give feedback continuously for 3 to 6 months with examples, with backups, and MAYBE then some action might be taken
