No work/life balance here

Pros

Your colleagues are wonderful people.

Cons

General manager says he knows of no editors who work less than 60 hours a week. There is no work/life balance. This is maddening, and salaries are poverty level. Your salary, with more than a decade of experience, is less than that of an entry level school teacher.
