Pros

The moment you leave for the day

Cons

If you are looking for an employer that does nothing about underperforming staff, barely adheres to regulations even when brought to management attention and have executive leadership so far removed from the business they are ‘surprised’ when you bring the writing on the wall to their attention then this is the place for you. If you like to work plenty of overtime and not get paid for it because the payroll team are never given the correct report and spend time chasing back payment this place is also for you. If you want a CEO that calls out training that is happening but when asking the upper management about it they have no idea or concept of what he is speaking about then as mentioned above this employer is for you. If you want to work for a business that cares more about money and GOS then it’s people or the ones they claim to insurer shall I say it again…. This is the business for you. Honestly I could write pages and pages but if you want a business that cares and actually supports your mental health then steer clear from WTP.

Pros

You cannot make yourself care about the job because if you did you’d be horrified at how poor wtp is. Maternity & paternity leave however is quite good, have heard multiple staff say they are only staying on until they can get pregnant and take leave.

Cons

At this point most everything, staffing, rostering, training, new clients etc. New clients are continuously being brought on with the “promise” of 24/7 assistance, what they’re not told is that no one is actually trained on their needs, they’re given a quick module and expected to just make it up as they go when a client calls in (we’re talking between 10-40 calls per person per day with many more responsibilities on top) upper Management are well aware of the issues within the company but will do nothing to fix them, instead focus on “fixing” non issues to make them one, consequently no one wants to continue working within wtp but are forced to until they can get out, opportunities for growth are incredibly limited despite the need for more supervisors likely due to the refusal to up the supervisor pay ($3 more an hr than base rate with a much higher responsibility). The training while weeks of it still doesn’t cover most of the job, most of the training team have actually quit, while not communicated to the team exactly why the expected reason would be due to the lack of support around what needs to change from upper management and the difficulty creating training for a job you’ve never actually worked in or seen done.
