Pros

Great exposure in terms of work

Cons

C-level instability seems to prevail through the company. Also think that there is no equal treatment in terms of pay.

Pros

-great colleagues from all over the world who are motivated to spend the time together after work ( partying or just hanging out together was a regular thing ) -delicious and rich breakfast everyday

Cons

-bad management that doesn't treat all the employees equally and with the respect -the vision for the company is not clear and the product itself doesn't seem to be that succesful -lack of opportunities for developement and challaneging tasks for many of the employees (only some of the people are treated in a special way)

Wunder Mobility Response

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to read that apparently you didn´t fully enjoy your time working at Wunder. You mention 2 main reasons. 1. The vision is not clear: Our management team is working hard to make sure that our vision is clearly communicated in the weekly team meetings and monthly vision meetings. We will take your feedback and rethink how we could improve the communication of the vision even more. Thanks! 2. The management does not treat all employees in the same way: We don't strive to treat everyone the same. Each team member is playing a unique and important role in the team and requires different approaches to personal development. We see the strength in the diversity of our team and the clarity of our core values. One important core value is about speaking up and we rely on each other to speak up when we see that there is a disconnect between our personal direction and that of the team. We hope that this great international team that you are talking about, can see the opportunity we are having right now and feels the excitement the management team is feeling. Again, thanks for your feedback! We take it very serious!

Pros

- Lots of good teammates - Possibilities to work with different topics and have different responsibilities - Meetup organization - Food in the office - Office structure - Beautiful location - Self-management culture - Used to have a good HR team, but not sure about it now. They used to fight for the team's needs, currently, they seem to fight for saving a penny to the founders.

Cons

Last year they added people to the Kurzarbeit program, but they clearly said that it was the last day of that group of people at the company. So they had no interest to bring them back after financial recovery, they just wanted to use the opportunity to get rid of people that used to work in the products that they didn't want to invest anymore and didn't want to pay the price for terminations or relocating people to other position, expecting these people would terminate the contract themselves. They took advantage of the situation and the government program. The employees were put in a group call and communicated with no privacy, and no option or clear clarification. It was the first week of lockdown and, meanwhile, they were firing almost everyone on probation, including people that had moved to Germany two months earlier. - CEO doesn't see the need to work in diversity in the leadership, including the absence of women presence in the Upper-level management. Even in small things like opposing to support a "Wunder Women" event, or allowing HR to have initiatives with the message that there was a gender imbalance in the company, with the excuse that we had so many foreign people, it was already diversity. - Directions of the product change really quick before we can stabilize initial ideas - Investment in new products with little or poor validation most of the time - Tons of code and development time throw away with a change in priorities - Lack of transparency of company's success, seems that they do some marketing to convince even the people inside that we are doing well, but besides the fleet project the clients were not relevant or stayed for little time using the products - Presents itself as a tech company but doesn't enforce innovation, or is a tech-driven environment. The focus is to be fast to deliver on a no-clear-how-was-decided due date. - Too much politics and rumors spread around.
