      This situation, where an employer gives no prior notice of termination and threatens an employee with "either you resign or we will terminate you," is a complex and often legally problematic scenario known as forced resignation

      None that I can think of at this time.

      Cons

      Being heavily recruited to join the company, and being let go after a handful of months, was not cool at all. The severance (two weeks) was an embarrassment. Given that they struggled to pay their vendors - leading them on month after month was a shame.
