Pros

Exposure to fast-paced marketing work and digital campaigns — employees mention learning a lot about digital marketing and web design in roles at Yurz. Strong team culture and “great people” are frequent positives in employee reviews. Supportive management at times — the “management is always supportive and willing to help” is noted. Creative freedom thanks to organizational “chaos” — some say less bureaucracy allowed them to execute ideas more quickly. Good benefits or perks some employees mention (office, breakfasts, positive work environment)

Cons

Leadership & decision inconsistency: Reviews point to erratic or capricious decisions from upper management, sudden shifts, micromanagement, and poor communication. Lack of stability / job security: Layoffs are mentioned, and support functions feel vulnerable. Career advancement limitations: Some reviews suggest limited upward mobility or that growth is less structured. Workplace disruption / operational chaos: Frequent changes in desks, offices, project scope shifts, and lack of concern for employee comfort are cited. Reputation risk / client complaints: From the external side, there are negative reviews — e.g. BBB listing accuses of continuing to charge after cancellation and using outdated advertising, calling it “complete scam.” Mixed ratings / image inconsistencies: Yurz overall ratings are modest (e.g. 3.4 on Glassdoor for “office” reviews) and customer reviews toward their service are mixed.

Pros

Yurz offered the opportunity for a lot of people in Beaverton to get started in job. If someone wanted to get out of fast food or menial labor jobs, Yurz was a place to go to and get some training to start some sort of career. The only person in management who actually cared and worked for the employees was the HR Manager. She handled everything in the Beaverton office including doing the jobs of the other managers who were busy watching YouTube or their dog at daycare.

Cons

That being said, Yurz was a place to use and abuse people looking for a way to start a career. Promises made were never kept. People were continually let go without notice on the whim of the CEO or the incompetent Sales or CS Managers. The only employees who benefited were the top sales people or the members of the Boys Club. The members of the Boys Club were the most uneducated, incompetent and lazy people in the company. Yet they were continually rewarded for their incompetence by the CEO including secret trips to grand locations where they partied to the hilt. The not-so-incredible thing was that the "boys" could not keep it a secret so we all knew they were off partying with the owner. The CEO touted them as "Production Meetings" and actually put pages of pictures of them partying in a company yearbook. Women in the company were undervalued and underpaid compared to men. Only pretty, tiny females were allowed to work at the front desk. Any support position within the company was seen as useless and unnecessary unless something was needed immediately. Once that piece of information was obtained, that employee's value was obsolete. The complete lack of benefits for hourly employees was appalling. The amount of money spent on the ridiculously overpriced holiday party could have provided paid holidays for all of the hourly employees for a year. Oh - but then there wouldn't be a tax writeoff...

Pros

Pays well. Your boss will want to fist bump you every five minutes.

Cons

They sell google add words at a marked up price. They place generic ads on search phrases. They do this by pushing their sales team to aggressive one call close approach. In order to make sure their employees are monitored closely. The product itself leaves customers unhappy and they will give you the run around in order for them to stay with the service. Good luck cancelling. The business itself had to rebrand due to complaints with the BBB. It use to be called linktech.
