Pros

New shiny office in the city. Nice coworkers (besides management)

Cons

No work life balance. Get worked to the bone. Horrible bosses. Lots of nasty gossip. Fake product reviews. There is literally an employee who writes them in her day to day job. Heaps of fake Glassdoor reviews here as well.

Pros

- management hires clever, diligent , friendly, like-minded employees - girly team lunches and events - cute (illegal) pet chameleons

Cons

there is just too much... - "everyone here is hard working and no one leaves on time" - Founder & CEO - no real flexibility. its an 8:30-5:30+ job - no room for growth or promotion - gaslighting and bullying from management - managers exploit the young and inexperienced employees "this is what's expected in the corporate world" - sick leave and annual leave was deducted NOT pro-rata (work 7.5 hour days, deducted 9 hours for day of leave) - sick leave policy: if you are sick, you are asked "why are you sick", then expected to work from home WITHOUT pay, sometimes they will bully you to come into the office when you are sick. - they will schedule your lunch breaks individually if they do not want you to socialise with colleagues at lunch - ridiculously high staff turnover (longest standing employee (in the 10 years since inception) lasted 4 years and is no longer with the company. most people leave within a year) - took them to fair work and couldn't even turn up for mediation - owned by a young couple uneducated about ethical business practices - asking employees to post fake product reviews and remove bad comments - inaccurate weights of goods listed on website (hair is thinner and lighter than advertised - constantly shifting the blame on couriers, suppliers, staff - anyone but them. - no headphones in office rule (except for the CEO) - office dogs fart too much. it stinks ... the list goes on
