Incoherent Wellness and Salesmenship

Pros

-The office is located in a great area in OC -Mgmt takes the time to get to know staff members

Cons

-LOW LOW LOW salaries -Mgmt sets unrealistic goals and then hires inexperienced employees to try to meet those goals. They always miss. The hired employees are chosen over more qualified applicants because they'll accept the lower salaries. -The company offers attractive wellness items (alcohol in the office, ping pong table, happy hours), but employees who utilize those amenities are scolded for it. They put hourly restrictions on when those things can be used, which meant you'd have to stay after normal hours (OT) to use them. -Every weekly staff meeting felt like a sales pitch. You're stressed being asked to do things you're not qualified for and they're sales pitching why you should stay with the company. Retention issues. -They're constantly restructuring the company and it never makes sense why it's happening or what the end goal is besides promoting people without providing pay bumps. -Unlimited PTO means you don't accrue time off (they don't owe you anything). You have to put in a request and bargain for it. -Mgmt doesn't take part in lunches, happy hours, etc., but employees are expected to. Everyone talks to each other all day, it's an open floorplan office. Those should be times for mgmt to be involved in the personal conversations.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on adQuadrant and voicing your concerns. We truly appreciate the feedback and hope we can address these topics with a bit more detail. We are a rapidly growing organization that takes pride in offering a competitive compensation package to every team member, including incentives tied to the success of our customers. This type of compensation structure is what leads to an employee retention rate that is well above the industry average. We attempt to have a people-first organization, and maintain a positive culture. I would be open to any ideas of improving our culture you may have or would like to share. In the past 18 months we became a 100% remote organization, and that comes with some growing pains. We also have grown our team substantially this year, which can create changes in the culture of an organization. However, I personally wouldn’t describe our culture as toxic or detrimental, and I believe our Glassdoor rating reflects as such. Our training process can always be improved, we will work with our departments to improve the way they train new employees and/or Independent Contractors. Again, thank you for your feedback and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
