Pros

Trying to think of any... Flexible working hours - Which is not even an advantage as this is the bear minimum a business can do in order to secure talented people.

Cons

My experience with eComplete has been fundamentally problematic. Although it's not a mature agency I cannot justify the lack of transparency, communication and lack of interest of senior managers towards the junior members of the team. Some managers are extremely unwilling to provide support and guidance but they are very demanding. There's a strong gap between the teams and directors too. The team doesn't create a sense of belonging which is again down to the poor management of senior managers and directors too. This causes extremely isolating work with very poor communication between the members of the team. Lack of growth - I cannot emphasize it enough. Lack of role clarity, lack of path in regards to progress. All I got was vague and generic promises as always. Lack of guidance - Coming from an Amazon background I didn't really know what to expect in Google. My managers were aware of that but they didn't spend any time with me in order to guide me. It was requested from my side of course but was never done. However they had expectations. After 8 months in the business, I can vividly say that I didn't learn anything. This place doesn't really encourage growth. They just want someone to deliver work without giving too much attention. Lack of brilliant basics stuff - Managers used to go on holidays without telling anyone!! No heads up, no status on teams, just nothing. That's a great way of showing to your team that you don't care. How do you expect your stuff to be happy when you are unable to deliver the brilliant basics? After 8 months we are still chasing people to do that... Lack of sense of belonging - Same story. Senior manager doesn't not create a sense of belonging especially in a business which is remote! They don't recognize the work that we do and we don't feel valuable to the teams and the businesses. eComplete believe that the company is about the people. My experience indicates exactly the opposite...Regardless of how many times I raised issues to the management team, they were continuously ignored.

Pros

- Nice people work there, likely to meet some good friends and helpful colleagues who care about you. - Remote working

Cons

When I first joined eComplete I had heard so many good things about the culture, the mission and overall it was set out to be a great place to work, I started with positivity and trust, as it was still early days of the business operating. As the clients increased, the organisation of all projects began to feel chaotic and I can’t speak for everyone but I began to feel overstretched with how many clients I was across in a team of 2. An incident then occurred where my team went down to 1, I was left solo with no manager from June - November with incredibly little support from the person who I was now ‘reporting into’ and HR, being fully billed out on a client but still expected to pick up other client work I reached breaking point and flagged this to HR a few times, sadly this achieved nothing. A call that was initially put in place to check on my workload soon became a meeting to add tasks to my workload, despite no recruitment of a new manager or any execs to support. After all client work remaining afloat despite it just being myself, I had a conversation around becoming manager and was told that this would only be possible if I completed a list of tasks that was not possible on top of doing the role of myself and another, this is when I lost motivation and any aspirations to stay in the business. My decision was made easier as a group call was put in our diaries to inform us about redundancies and I felt relieved, which i’m assuming is uncommon for people being made redundant.
