Pros

I really enjoyed my time here as a copywriter. The work was creative and engaging, and the team made it a great place to grow. Steve, the CEO, was a pleasure to work for and I valued our conversations about life and business. Nick, Head of SEO, is an outstanding leader—knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to explain complex concepts without frustration. He was very flexible and led with the motto of family first! Brian, Michael, and Shane (SEO leaders) are highly skilled and I learned so much from them. Overall, this is a company of talented, good people who want everyone to succeed. The addition of project managers has been a huge positive, creating more structure and clarity in the workflow. The culture is collaborative and overall a good environment for building skills. iNET is thriving as a business and I experienced positive career growth as a result. Put in the work, advocate for yourself/the value you bring, build personal relationships, and you will enjoy going to work here.

Cons

At times, the workload and the time allotted didn’t align. This was a major challenge at first, though it has improved in recent months with the addition of project managers. Feedback could be stronger to reduce wasted time. While some leaders gave clear direction, others offered vague input, leaving questions like “What value does this project bring to the client?” Too often, actionable guidance required extra effort among super high expectations. The company is a great fit for someone early in their career, but the benefits package wasn’t what I needed for my family and ultimately led to my departure. Specifically, PTO, health insurance premiums, holiday pay (5 days), and the lack of a matching 401k. Flexibility and understanding were never an issue and a huge pro of working here.
