The company has only one product which is not even required in market, to be very frank. So career growth on the technology perspective is almost NIL. And the top management and HR is so clueless and directionless that they dont know why they hire people and remove the same people within a span of 6 months. This company is known for its history of laying off people. Within 8 years there have been atleast 8-12 layoffs... either in the name of revenue crunch, recession or in name of performance evalutation.
HR policies are the worst in the Bangalore office. The HR is not pro employees but pro a "group of employees" whom they consider theri favourites. Other employees are not even considered worthy of discussion. Looks like the US management is not aware of what all is happening in the Bangalore office. HR has their team of favourite people who get their special benifits like good hikes, promotions and consideration from the layoffs whether they deserve it or not. Looks like the company is running on the whims and fancies of those favourites.
Also company has a strange history of retaining totally unworthy employees. May be HR practices in Bangalore is the main reason for that. They have retained people who sleathily holds their own company, they have maintained people who use the office internet for their own business marketing purposes, they have retained people who dont even work for 4 hours, and they have retained people who go out for a drink during office hours and come back to office drunk and act funny with the female colleagues around. Instead they have removed the worthy people in layoffs.
No wonder the company is going to see doomsday very soon.
