Pros

1. Mission of improving access to mental healthcare sounds inspiring … 2. Good pay 3. Hybrid work options

Cons

1. Pretty disorganised which you can adjust with if communications are clear and respectful. 2. No concept of onboarding and helping new starters get acclimatised. 3. Had trouble getting basic IT equipment necessary to do my job. 4. Manager was draining my energy and enthusiasm day after day with inconsistent feedback and manipulations. Approached senior management to no avail. 5. If you are a confident person of colour, you will trigger people and might eventually find yourself in situations where others are feeding off your energy.

I am so sorry to read that you have had such a poor experience of being part of our team here at ieso, and I am very grateful that you have brought this to our attention. We are usually proud of our induction and onboarding programmes but having read your review, we will certainly be taking another look to see what can be improved. Whilst this is certainly a busy and changeable place to work, many of our people find this invigorating and motivating. However, reading that you felt overwhelmed by your workload and unsupported by management is something I will personally explore and look to rectify. I am truly grateful for the feedback and wish you all the very best in your career.

Pros

Free drinks Free breakfast Friendly colleagues The company aim and supporting patients is great

Cons

Fired two weeks after being given a raise The week I asked for mental health support was the week I was fired Little support given when having to handle risky patient situations Unfair work load and get into trouble when you don’t meet the demands They made me feel like a failure, like I was replaceable, small and insignificant Sometimes hostile and often gossipy environment

Pros

The mission is powerful There are some nice, hard working and clever people there who you can learn from

Cons

High pressure with short deadlines and no concern ironically for staff mental health who are being asked to do more and more with fewer resources/colleagues to depend on
