smartShift provides a thorough experience of learning in SAP and in particular ABAP concepts and always focuses on advanced and special topics like Hana , S/4 and new ABAP... I learned to understand the internal architecture of SAP programs and this gave me completely different perspective of SAP technology. Upgrades, Migrations, Consolidations throw day to day challenges in your way, this will give you a great learning opportunity. You will cover everything possible in custom code improvement, security,upgrades management...( rather than developing small limited routine functional changes....) In my career of 4-5 years, I have spent only 2 years at smartShift but I can say I learned more than my 5 years career just in one year here. At my experience I play the roles of Team Lead Project Manager and an Architect based on the project I am in and can deal with Customers directly. I have no hierarchies that would stop from growing. Only performance is the criteria. Encouraging leadership in all levels with necessary guidance and support when required directly or remotely. We are always motivated here to become full scale technology Architects rather than treated as resources or just Abap developers..
