UPenn MSE-DS or Harvard Extension ALM-DS or Notre Dame MS-DS I’m already a Senior Data Scientist with 8+ years of experience (6 in DS) but my academic background is in Mech/Aero Engineering from respected universities (Purdue and Virginia Tech). I mainly want to get a degree for more depth, a prestigous school and an elite alumni network. Ideally I’d love to work in a high-paying tech company (Netflix) or finance and I think these schools carry weight in those areas.

Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) org I’m currently in the pipeline for a Data Scientist role with the ISD organization at Microsoft. Team seems great so far. Can anyone share their experience with the ISD organization (especially the technical / engineering teams) ? Where does it sit in terms of quality of work, WLB, and culture compared to the broader Microsoft ecosystem? Most importantly, how is job security?
