Yesterday was #WorldHealthDay, marking the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization. This year we joined WHO in raising awareness for building a fairer, healthier world through equity in clean air and water, food security, health services, income, employment, and gender equality. Health and wellness is a priority for us here at Benchmark Digital. To continue our initiative to become the best versions of ourselves we host our annual wellness program. In this program, we discover healthier alternatives to incorporate into our lifestyle through challenges and engaging activities. Our most recent activity was a company-wide cooking class where we partnered with a local restaurant and learned how to cook a healthy and delicious meal!
We recently celebrated St. Patrick's Day by playing Family Feud trivia! Each team member of the winning team won a gift card to their favorite local Irish pub. This was a great way for our team to bond and have fun while celebrating!

Significant activity is witnessed worldwide on this day as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality. We dedicate today to celebrating women's achievements and increasing visibility while calling out inequality.
At Benchmark Digital, serving our community is a top priority. We are honored to mentor local school children with Adopt-A-Class, where we can make a difference by sharing our passion for education through reading books, playing games, and learning from each other’s experiences.
As you may know, Black History Month is recognized each February as an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in US history. In our support of this celebration, 75 members of the US team were joined by Dr. Eric Jackson. Dr. Jackson is a History professor at Northern Kentucky University. During his presentation, he discussed the importance of Black History Month in society. With almost twenty-five years of academic experience at the university level, Dr. Jackson teaches in the fields of American and African American History/Studies, Race Relations, and Peace Studies. He has over fifty publications, including in journals such as Africology: The Journal of Pan African Studies, the Journal of African American History, and the International Journal of World Peace.
