Fragomen is delighted to announce the launch of a new talent initiative aimed at helping train young South African legal minds, conceptualized by firm Co-Chair Lance Kaplan. After a rigorous application process, a top cohort of South African scholars, pictured here, will have the opportunity to work alongside the Fragomen team in Johannesburg, as well as with some of the firm’s international offices, to immerse themselves in a structured training program about immigration and global mobility. The program reflects the firm’s long-term commitment to South Africa and Africa, with the development of its people at the core of this promise. In addition to fostering a deep appreciation for South Africa and all its offerings, the initiative’s goal is to provide talented young lawyers with international work experience while forging links between South Africa and the international business community.
