In 2015, a life-altering event occurred when Ramesh Ji experienced a silent glaucoma attack, rendering him blind. Despite the darkness that had enveloped his sight, he remained steadfast. He took a hiatus from work, and during this time, Mr. Chaudhary reached out to check on him. Ramesh Ji, initially despondent, shared his inability to continue working. In response, Mr. Chaudhary, exemplifying our company's commitment to supporting our employees, offered assistance with his treatment. Ramesh Ji was skeptical but agreed to try an alternative path. He borrowed 1,300 rupees from a friend, Deepak, and opened a canteen at our office. Our dedicated employees rallied behind him, with Tripti teaching him recipes and Deepender promoting his food within the organization. Soon, Ramesh Ji's canteen became a popular destination for a variety of delectable treats, from Maggi to cold coffee and sandwiches, all cooked on an induction stove. Since its inception in 2015, Ramesh Ji's canteen has thrived at Jaipur Rugs. His story serves as a poignant reminder of life's unpredictability and the resilience needed to overcome its challenges. At our company, we celebrate individuals like Ramesh Ji who embody our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and ethical values, and we remain dedicated to supporting their journeys to success.
Riyaz Ji has been working with us for 20 years. He joined our family as a hand sketcher and later learned to design on a computer. He says that whatever he learned so far is from Jaipur Rugs only. He believes in continuous learning, and he understands the importance of upgradation, and following trends in his profession. Now both of his sons are also a part of our family. Jaipur rugs gave him whatever he has now. He recalls an incident when he wanted to try a big design other than the small design he used to do for a long time. Though many said that he can't do it, with hard work and commitment he managed to make it. Everybody appreciated him for the same and this was an unforgettable incident for him. Riyaz’s work is the epitome of loyalty that one can show to his work. N K Chaudhary
