Yesterday, members of our payroll and benefits departments hit the lanes for a great cause at the Pins for Paws โ Scott Oachs Memorial Bowling Tournament. ๐ณ Hosted at Wow! Zone Family Entertainment Center, the event brought together teams from across the community to support the meaningful work of BLUE EARTH-NICOLLET COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY INC. From helping pets find loving homes to reuniting lost animals with their families and promoting spay/neuter programs, BENCHS continues to make a lasting impact in the greater Mankato area. As both a sponsor and participant, Team Monarch showed up ready to bowl, connect, and give backโand weโre proud to share that we raised $500 to support animals in need. ๐งก๐พ Two games, great company, and a whole lot of purposeโevents like this are a reminder of what community is all about.
We're so proud of our Monarch team members who represented us at the 2026 CHAASE Banquet and helped make the evening memorable! ๐ A special congratulations to the UWEC Health Care Administration program on 50 years of excellence โ and a heartfelt shoutout to our three UWEC practicum students, Ashley House, Olivia Carlson, and Morgan Lee โ 11 months in and continuing to impress every step of the way. The connection between academia and long-term care practice is what moves this field forward, and nights like this remind us why that partnership matters.

With the 2026 season opener at the end of March, our hashtag#MonarchMonday theme this week was Major League Baseball with โพ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ โพ. Staff and residents were invited to show up in jerseys and team colors from across the league, but Monday turned out to be a full-on Twins takeover! And if one thingโs for sureโif the Twins show up this season the way our staff and residents did for Monarch Monday, we could be headed for the World Series, baby! Emily is an MDS Coordinator at The Estates at Roseville and has been part of the Monarch family for just over a year. She's currently pursuing her BSN through Metro State University, with big ambitions beyond thatโEmily has her sights set on eventually becoming a nurse practitioner. ๐ Through the Monarch Employee Education Assistance Program, Emily is making that vision a reality. And get thisโthe application process was so quick and easy that Emily actually forgot she had appliedโฆ and was genuinely surprised when her first check arrived! ๐ We love that story, Emilyโand we love even more that you're not stopping at the BSN. ๐ฒ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐!

We were proud to join our team at The Emeralds at Grand Rapids last Thursday for a special open house celebrating an exciting addition to their continuum of care campus. The event marked the unveiling of a brand-new secured unit designed to support individuals living with dementia and others who benefit from a safe, structured, and supervised environment. It was an honor to celebrate alongside ambassadors of the Grand Rapids MN Area Chamber of Commerce during a ceremonial ribbon cutting, as well as community members and local leaders. Guests enjoyed catered refreshments and guided campus tours, offering a firsthand look at this thoughtfully designed space and the compassionate care it will support. We are incredibly proud of our Grand Rapids team for bringing this vision to life and expanding access to specialized care for the Grand Rapids community. Thank you to all who joined in celebrating this meaningful milestone. If you missed the event and would like to schedule a tour, call the facility at (218) 326-3431 or email the administrator, Jenna at JTadych@monarchmn.com.
Last Friday, Monarch Healthcare Management was proud to take part in the Teddy Bear Clinic at the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota. ๐งธ๐ฉบ Presented alongside Mankato Clinic, River's Edge Hospital, OFC - Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry, and Airway Foundations, this hands-on event welcomed children for a morning of learning and fun. From 9:00โ11:30 a.m., kids brought their teddy bears in for โcheckups,โ explored mock medical procedures, and interacted with healthcare professionals in a fun, engaging environment. Erin Schultz and Sarah Haman represented Monarch by handing out teddy bear "patients" to every child who entered the museumโhelping kick off their clinic experience with a smile. Weโre always honored to support this event. The Teddy Bear Clinic continues to make a meaningful impact by helping children feel more comfortable with healthcare experiences while sparking early curiosity about careers in the field.
