Pharmavite was founded and has been based in Los Angeles for 54 years – and we’re deeply proud of our Southern California roots. It’s hard to find words to describe what Los Angeles has been through, and we are so grateful for the firefighters and first responders working to keep LA safe. Our community needs support, and to aid recovery efforts, Pharmavite has made a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross, as well as a $10,000 donation to the Los Angeles Fire Department Fund, the official nonprofit arm of the LAFD that focuses on improving firefighter health, safety and wellness. Our CEO, Jeff Boutelle, recently sat down with Megan Poinski to chat about how Pharmavite continues to innovate and stay at the forefront of consumer needs, and about his leadership style throughout our company’s growth and transformation. In the interview, Jeff shares: “You don’t get the shine without the friction. Friction can be a good thing. It can also be a bad thing if done wrong, but this is the creative debate and dialogue. When I first got here, it wasn’t part of the culture. It was viewed as a negative to disagree or to offer a different opinion. We created an environment where people are encouraged and free to do that, because that’s where the magic happens. It’s been working for us pretty well.” Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gycx-sMG
