Empathetic Leadership: Building Stronger Teams and Happier Workplaces. An interactive session conducted by Shalini Singh, Founder and CEO, BSpotted. In this session, Shalini Singh highlighted the importance of empathy in strengthening work relationships and improving overall well-being. Using real examples, she showed how empathetic leaders effectively handle challenges, solve problems, and enhance the workplace. By understanding their team's emotions, leaders can make better decisions, build loyalty, and create a sense of belonging at work. Additionally, she highlighted that the leaders who prioritize their team's well-being contribute to a happier and more productive workplace. Focusing on the team's feelings leads to increased satisfaction, better mental health, and improved productivity.

In the recent session, Harsha Bhat, a well-known writer, shares the inspiring journey of Manjamma in her new book, "From Manjunath to Manjamma: The Inspiring Life of a Transgender Folk Artist." Manjamma faced tough times when she revealed she identified as female. Despite the challenges, she went from being an outcast to a celebrated artist, using her art to support inclusion for India's marginalized hijra community. Harsha's book reminds us that even after tough times, there's hope for better days ahead, and she hopes it encourages women to find their inner strength and believe in a brighter future.
