Congratulations are in order! Our very own Lee LeFeuvre has been shortlisted for The Drum's Commerce Media Awards in the Commerce Media Leader of the Year category. 💛 🏆 With more than a decade at SMG, progressing from Client Manager to Chief Client Officer, Lee has played a defining role, not just in our business, but in the evolution of retail media, from tactical activation to accountable, enterprise-level infrastructure. 🏆 He has helped build and scale more than 10 Retail Media Networks across multiple sectors, setting new standards for measurement, integration, and strategic impact. 🏆 The Commerce Media Awards winners will be announced on 27 April at The Commerce Media Leaders Forum in Miami. International Women’s Day can sometimes feel like it comes with big statements and bold promises. But most of the women we spoke to didn’t talk about big gestures. They talked about moments. Here’s what’s changed: 👶 Up to a 117% increase in fully paid maternity leave. Colleagues with 1+ years’ service now receive 26 weeks at full pay - more than double what was previously available at that stage. ⚖️ Paternity leave doubled. For many SMGers, fully paid paternity leave has increased by 100%, with enhanced benefits available earlier in their journey with us. 🚀 Stronger support, sooner. Reduced tenure thresholds mean enhanced benefits are available earlier. Families come in all shapes and sizes. We believe everyone deserves to feel backed, valued and able to thrive - at work and beyond. ❄️ Cold, tired legs… and a lot of pride. On Saturday, 16 SMGers took on the Ultra Challenge® London Winter Walk in support of our national charity partner, Centrepoint. Between them, they completed half and full marathons, clocking up 262 miles across the capital! And they didn’t just walk it - they raised £4,600 for Centrepoint, helping support young people experiencing homelessness across the UK. This took real grit, commitment and teamwork (and probably a few blisters). Huge thanks to everyone who took part, donated or supported along the way. We couldn’t be prouder of this group!
1,800+ New Trees for Leeds - Thanks to Our Incredible SMG Volunteers! 🌳 Earlier this month, 20 brilliant volunteers from across LS Eleven Media Services, Morrisons Media Group and our central teams rolled up their sleeves with SMGreen to help rebuild a woodland in Leeds. In one sun-filled day, the team planted more than 1,800 trees - a small forest’s worth of future canopy, biodiversity and carbon capture. The day also brought people together - meeting new faces, reconnecting and doing something meaningful for the local community. Huge thanks to everyone who got involved; your contribution genuinely made a difference 💚
Big thanks to SMGreen, our brilliant Sustainability Group, for bringing the Winter Swap Shop magic to our UK hubs last week 🎁♻️ The idea was simple: Bring in something you love but no longer need, earn a token, and redeem it for someone else’s pre-loved treasure. A greener, feel-good way to gift - whether for a teammate, a friend, or just yourself. From books and homeware to accessories and unexpected gems, our hubs were full of second-life finds and festive joy. ✨ We loved seeing our teams give their unwanted items a second life - and pick up some great gifts along the way!
