Our incredible people in Jamaica recently embarked on a series of inspiring livelihood enhancement activities in a rural community! At Lennon High School, our dedicated volunteers set up an English corner, creating an interactive space where students can practice and improve their English skills. Additionally, our volunteers conducted resume writing exercises and provided valuable insights into career development. In collaboration with the community, our HR team also assisted with a remedial reading program, helping individuals enhance their reading skills and encouraging a lifelong love for learning. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated people in Jamaica who have been actively collaborating with the Missionaries of the Poor to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. In our latest initiative, we began by constructing a much-needed ramp to enhance accessibility for disabled individuals residing at their facility. But we didn't stop there! Recognizing the immense effort the Missionaries of the Poor put into providing for over 1000 people in their care, we have now donated a brand new dryer. This contribution will significantly assist with the laundry needs of those occupying the space, allowing for a more efficient and comfortable environment for all.
