On the path to gender parity, our sites in France are well on track with a proportion of 49% women and 51% men. And in China, with 47% the percentage is also quite high. All in all, 31% of people in leadership positions both directly below the Board level and on the second management level at Sartorius are female. Sartorius is expanding its multidisciplinary collaboration with NVIDIA to help enable the development of new and better therapies, combining Sartorius’ in-depth knowledge of life sciences and bioprocessing with NVIDIA’s AI-powered computing platforms and software. "Biological interactions are exceptionally complex. Making better use of data by integrating life science expertise with AI solutions is a promising approach to simplify and accelerate biopharma drug discovery and manufacturing progress. Sartorius is collaborating with biopharmaceutical company Sanofi to develop an end-to-end platform for integrated and continuous downstream bioprocessing. Selected as a preferred supplier, Sartorius will contribute its engineering and manufacturing expertise to commercialize ICB platforms based on prototypes developed by Sanofi. Throughout the event, our recruiting team engaged with candidates, from fresh graduates to seasoned managers, answering numerous questions, addressing queries and fostering connections. First quarter results in line with expectations "In the first quarter we largely saw the projected muted start to the fiscal year and a mixed picture overall: Orders in our core business with consumables are picking up noticeably, signaling an advanced stage of inventory reduction on the customer side. Business with customers working on cell and gene therapies, which is a major strategic focus for us, is also developing well, although this still very young field generally sees somewhat higher volatility. Sartorius and U.S.-based startup TheWell Bioscience have agreed to partner on the further development of hydrogels and bioinks tailored to produce 3D advanced cell models for drug discovery workflows. TheWell’s solutions address the shift from animal-based to more human-relevant organoid models, resulting in more accurate predictions in drug discovery. „The offering seamlessly complements our bioanalytic instruments, cytokines and media products used to grow and analyze a range of 3D spheroid and organoid models. Their hydrogel solutions are highly compatible with our live-cell imaging system for monitoring and analyzing cell health and behavior in real time.
